About The Webinar
This webinar will look at every aspect of appliance design and how it affects the forces on the jaw and teeth. It will look at material selection, appliance designs and its intricacy and how these affect patients. It will also discuss potential side effects and how clinicians need to rank the likelihood of side effects and how appliance design can mitigate those side effects.
About The Presenters
Dr. Jonathan Ford
Dr. Jonathan Ford was born and raised in Huntington Beach. After graduating from Marina High School he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned a BA and graduated with Cum Laude honors. He also is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Ford is passionate about educating the community and other doctors about dental health. He is Resident Faculty at a dental continuing education facility called CDOCS, where he teaches other dentists how to implement dental sleep medicine into their practices. He has served as president of the Huntington Beach Kiwanis and volunteered his time doing dental clinics at orphanages in Les Ceyes, Haiti. Along with continuing his postgraduate education and advancing his understanding of dentistry he is also an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Jonathan Ford is an avid sports fan and enjoys being outdoors. He also enjoys spending free time with his family wife, Nadiah and two children, Emmah and Zane.
