About the Presenter
Dr. Ashley Spooner
Over the past 12 years, Dr. Ashley Spooner has continually honed her skills through ongoing education, staying at the forefront of advancements in dental technology and patient care. Her practice encompasses expertise in Cerec technology, CBCT, oral surgery, including implant placement, removable and aesthetic procedures, and comprehensive care for patients of all ages, integrating specialty services as needed. She is dedicated to preventive care and educating patients on the Mouth-Body Connection. Dr. Spooner leverages advanced technologies such as CBCT, salivary diagnostics, digital radiographs, pharyngometry, and home sleep studies to enhance patient health and well-being. Through collaborative care with the medical community, she strives to improve overall patient health outcomes.
Passionate about medical-dental collaboration and improving patient health, Dr. Spooner founded Dynamic Dental Sleep, LLC (DDS). DDS serves as an educational and technological platform that trains dentists and their teams to screen for and treat sleep apnea within their practices. This initiative not only provides comprehensive education but also offers seamless workflows in collaboration with industry-leading organizations, ensuring successful implementation into dental practices without disrupting daily operations.
In addition to owning her practice and leading DDS, Dr. Spooner serves as a mentor, faculty member, and Epic Clinical Champion for Pacific Dental Services. She passionately teaches team retention strategies, implant procedures, CEREC, Epic workflows, and dental sleep medicine. She is responsible for collaborating with Epic teams at Pacific Dental Services to optimize their Epic EHR instance with AI integrations tailored for dental settings. This initiative aims to facilitate Medical-Dental Integration, empowering clinicians and the medical community with efficient workflows for comprehensive patient care to improve overall patient health outcomes.
