About The Presenter
Len Liptak is the CEO of ProSomnus® Sleep Technologies. An award-winning executive with expertise growing and operating innovation-oriented businesses, Len is a founding member of ProSomnus, and co-inventor of the company's flagship product. Len also serves on the company's Board of Directors.
Prior to starting ProSomnus, Len was President of MicroDental Laboratories, where he led the commercialization of multiple, award-winning, new products, guided business unit operations, and directed the expansion of the company's digital supply chain. During Len's tenure, the company grew three times faster than the industry average, expanded gross margins, and set company records for profitability. At MicroDental, Len was named to ExecRank's list of top executives for privately held companies in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, Len led the sale of MicroDental Laboratories to the Modern Dental Group (HKG:3600).
Len also spent 10 years at 3M Company and Stryker Corporation in strategic business development, business unit management and product development capacities. While at 3M, Len received his Six Sigma accreditation, and was awarded the company's Golden Step Award, Circle of Technical Excellence Team Award, and Global Sales and Marketing Leadership Award.
Len earned an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a B.A. from Brown University. A lifelong learner, Len has completed executive education programs at John's Hopkins, and is a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO).
Dr. Mark T. Murphy is an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine Diplomate and has practiced in the Rochester area for over 35 years. He is the Lead Faculty for Clinical Education at ProSomnus Sleep Technologies, Principal of Funktional Sleep, serves on the Guest Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and as a Regular Presenter at the Pankey Institute. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Pankey Institute, the National Association of Dental Laboratories, the Identalloy Council, the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, St. Vincent DePaul's Dental Center and the Dental Advisor. He lectures internationally on Leadership, Dental Sleep Medicine, TMD, Treatment Planning, and Occlusion.
Dr. Erin Elliott grew up in Southern California but went away to a small NAIA school in Western New York where she played collegiate soccer and graduated summa cum laude from Houghton College. After graduating Creighton Dental School in 2003, she settled in North Idaho to begin her general dentistry career. She has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine and technology. She has lectured extensively on these topics and loves to help general dentists extend this life-saving service to their patients. She is an active member of her local American Dental Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is the past president and a diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. She teaches a 2-day Sleep Apnea Implementation Course with 3D-Dentists and Dr. Tarun Agarwal.
Dr. Kent Smith is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and American Sleep and Breathing Academy and is President of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. In 2007, he was asked to start a sleep curriculum at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and in 2012, he was the first in Texas to be awarded a Dental Sleep Medicine Facility Accreditation.
He runs two sleep practices in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and has been speaking on many topics related to sleep both nationally and internationally for the last 15 years. He started Brady Billing for sleep doctors in 2013 and they now service over 500 dentists in all 50 states.
Daily, Dr. Smith's mission is to save more lives, heal more relationships, extend more careers, and to work towards creating healthier patients through a whole health lens. Never being satisfied with the status quo, he is constantly looking for ancillary techniques, testing and treatments as he works towards these goals.
